Increasing prices of pineapple have brought the hopes of stable returns for the farming neighborhood this harvest year after two consecutive decades of distress.
“Since January, we are acquiring better prices with farm gate value of GI-tagged Vazhakulam pineapple special quality fetching ₹29 for every kg and the usual environmentally friendly selection ₹26.
