Completely. It’s easier to inspire a salesman while you align what they want with how they’re rewarded. Merely making quota could not encourage someone, but knowing that every time they make or surpass quota they’re that much nearer to owning the boat of their goals will. Determine what’s wanted for them to purchase that boat, then work backward. How many sales do they should make every week? How big does each sale should be? What sales coaching or activities must take place to make sure they’re hitting their numbers?
