WELLINGTON, New Zealand—The guy accused of killing 51 people in the deadliest terrorist attacks in New Zealand’s history, sparking a ban on semiautomatic and assault weapons, has improved his plea to responsible.

The accused guy, 29-12 months-previous Australian Brenton Tarrant, experienced earlier denied all expenses and was to go on demo in June.

“Today’s responsible pleas are a major milestone in regard of 1 of our darkest days,” Law enforcement Commissioner Mike Bush explained.

The mass shootings at two mosques on March 15 last year upended the country’s picture as 1 of the world’s most secure and most tolerant nations.
