A week after violence to start with erupted in Northeast Delhi, 3 extra unidentified bodies have been recovered on Sunday, increasing the dying toll to forty five. The Delhi Police said it had registered 254 FIRs and arrested or detained 903 persons in link with the violence so far. Forty-one of the situations have been registered below the Arms Act. Three bodies have been fished out from two drains in Gokalpuri on Sunday when one human body was pulled out from a drain in Shiv Vihar, law enforcement said. Since Wednesday, the bodies of a number of riot victims, like Intelligence Bureau staffer Ankit Sharma, have been identified in drains, after violence ebbed.
Stress spread across a number of components of Delhi on Sunday night adhering to phony rumours of violence. Delhi Metro briefly shut down entry and exits at seven stations devoid of providing any explanation.
